Delete it yourself (immediate)

• Web app: sign in at app.soopafood.com, open the account menu (the circle with your initial, top right) → Settings → Delete Account, confirm with your password or by signing in again with the same Google, Apple, or Facebook account.
• iOS app: open the account menu → Delete Account, then confirm the same way.

Confirming is the last step: the deletion runs straight away, and there is no undo.

Ask us to delete it (within 30 days)

Email privacy@soopafood.com from the email address on your account. We'll delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm when it's done. If we can't match the address to an account we'll say so, so you can tell us which one you mean.

What gets deleted

Everything associated with the account: your saved recipes, collections, meal plans, shopping lists, photos you added, saved cooking instructions, any recipe reports you sent us, and the account record itself. Any recipe export file you generated is deleted within 7 days of being created, whether or not you delete your account. Our full Privacy Policy describes what we hold and for how long.

If you signed in with Facebook, Google, or Apple

When you delete your SoopaFood account from the web app or the iOS app, we also ask Facebook and Apple to disconnect SoopaFood from your account there. Google does not offer us an equivalent step, so if you signed in with Google you can remove SoopaFood yourself at myaccount.google.com once your account is deleted. If you still see SoopaFood listed on Facebook or Apple afterwards, you can remove it there in the same way. The reverse is not true: removing SoopaFood under Facebook's Settings & privacy → Apps and Websites (or the equivalent Google or Apple settings) only stops that sign-in method from working — it does not delete your SoopaFood account or its data. Use one of the steps above for that.
