On the way

An iOS app is in development

Until then, SoopaFood runs great in your phone's browser — add it to your home screen and it already feels at home.

Questions?

Sounds great. Is there a catch?+

Kinda. I plan to run ads in the app to cover costs, and may introduce an 'ad-free' tier with increased limits for some features. Having said that, here are my goals:

  • Keep all features, current and future, free for all users. Some features are more expensive for me to run than others.
  • Ad placements should be tastefully integrated, and unobtrusive to the user experience
  • Any future premium / ad-free tier should cost significantly less than what other apps charge for their equivalent
What are the limits?+

The rule of thumb is that if it's cheap for me to run, you won't need to worry about limits. Creating meal plans and shopping lists: no limits. Importing recipes — from blogs, websites, or social media — is 25 per week.

Can I save recipes from TikTok or Instagram?+

Yes — paste a link to a TikTok, Reel or YouTube video and we'll pull out the ingredients and steps into a proper recipe you can plan and shop from.

Is an app available?+

An iOS app is in development. For now, SoopaFood runs in your browser, on your phone or your laptop.

Are my recipes locked in?+

Never. Your collection is yours — export everything at any time in standard formats.
